Pros:
- This order tries to uphold the Christian tradition in especially affirming their obedience to the Catholic faith and church.
- This order tries to be the custodians of and support local Catholic churches.
- This order holds an office in the Vatican, along with other embassies who also do so.
Cons:
- Although they can they recognize the legitimacy of Regent Alessandro Vettori, which split from the Order of the Temple under Fabre-Palaprat, this organization refuses to accept parentage or any links of association with Palaprat or other orders that evolved from the same line. However, they do not claim lineage to Vettori, but accept the statutes he created as a framework of their own order. Thus, technically being formed under, and as, a completely new and modern association.
- There is no clear succession of Italian Templars after the death of Gastone Ventura, of whom they also refute due to his connections with Freemasonry and other esoteric movements.
- There was once a post on one of their social media channels which seemed to have mislead its members and interested persons to believe that their order is recognized by the catholic church and that their order is registered at the Vatican under canon law – which is completely false, they are not recognized by the Vatican. However, this post seems to have been rectified.
